Gate 48 lives in the Spleen Center, home of instinct and in-the-moment awareness, and here that awareness turns toward depth: do you actually have enough of it? The I Ching calls this hexagram The Well, an image of a resource that runs deep and doesn't run dry, but only if it has been properly dug and maintained. Gate 48's core question is exactly that.
