Gate 8 lives in the Throat Center, the body's gate of expression and manifestation, and it carries the gift of contribution: the drive to put something forward publicly and invite others to join it. The I Ching's Holding Together points to exactly this, the gate's genius for gathering people around a shared cause or piece of work and turning individual effort into collective momentum.
